In mid-November, the leadership team traveled to Chicago for NWP's Annual Meeting. The constant theme of the one-day meeting was about how writing projects sites can sustain themselves in these tough times. We are open to new ideas from all TCs on how to continue to keep our site thriving! Start a conversation today!

On November 5, 2011, teachers from all around Las Vegas gathered for the a one-day Fall Conference. SNWP teacher consultants presented ideas on writing and teacher to over 100 participants.

SNWP's Co-Director Ruth Devlin has recently been appointed to the National Writing Project's Board of Directors. Congratulations, Ruth!

On August 27, 2011, Writing Project TCs gathered at the Bennett Building on the campus of UNLV to launch SNWP's 27th year. To learn more, visit the 2011 Working Retreat Page.

Each workshop will incorporate writing as well as address specific areas from the Common Core Standards.
